What We Do
*Due to COVID-19 our main clothing building will be closed for the foreseeable future. We are unable to accept donations of clothing or household items at this time.*
Our Clothing Department provides access to quality, clean clothing for those who are unable to afford it. We believe in restoring the dignity of the human experience for our neighbors in need. We believe that access to decent clothing an important part of that experience. Beyond that, decent clothing is a necessity for maintaining and furthering career opportunities for our neighbors who are working to get out of poverty.
We provide clothing for every household up to twice per month. Our selection includes men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, including clothing for infants. We also provide shoes, towels, bed linens, blankets, and household items such as decorations, books, dishes and cutlery, children’s toys, basic hygiene products, and more.
How You Can Help
All products distributed by the Clothing Department comes from donations. We are happy to receive almost any donation of clothing, towels, linens, or other household items.
We ask that donors ensure all donated clothing is washed before donating. Additionally, we cannot accept any used undergarments. This is to ensure a sanitary environment for our hard-working volunteers and staff. We also ask that donors do not donate business and organization uniforms. In most cases, we are not allowed to distribute these due to copyright reasons.
We are also happy to receive donations of household items. Due to spatial limitations in our facilities, we cannot accept any donations of furniture. We can direct you to other organizations who are able to receive furniture donations.
We keep all donated items within our organization, and distribute them to those in need in Cleveland and Bradley County. If you’d like to know more about what you can donate, or arrange a time to drop off donations, please contact our offices using the information below.
