Let Us Break Bread Together 2018

Sponsorship Levels

“This is why I come here, because you stand in the gap for me and don’t make me feel bad for asking.” This was shared by an individual receiving help from The Caring Place. This is but one example of the countless stories of thanks for offering hope in a seemingly hopeless situation.

We are called to stand in the gap for those in need. We envision a table where individuals from all backgrounds and financial means sit together and break bread with one another. A community where all work together to solve problems and bring restoration. We hope for the Kingdom of God where this will always be. One table, one community, one Kingdom.

We are asking that you help us stand in the gap between surviving and thriving by sponsoring the 2018 Let Us Break Bread Together event. This unique event will be held on April 26th at the Lee University DeVos Recreation Center. It provides an opportunity for you to love your neighbor as yourself by providing a Kings Banquet as described in Luke 14. Your financial sponsorship for this dinner goes to serve families throughout the year. Your support is helping The Caring Place to continue meeting needs in love.

Our goal for 2018 is $85,000 which allows us to continue meeting the community needs and offering opportunities for individuals to move beyond poverty. Your gift of Hope for $1,000 will help feed 200 families.  Your gift of Friendship  for $500 will supply 100 Sac-Pacs to children in your community that are at risk of hunger over the weekend. Your gift of Support of $250 will aid one individual to develop a plan for a sustainable path out of poverty through our Getting Ahead investigative group.
